Agreement on Promoting the Removal of Vacant Houses in Sagamihara City with Crassone

On the 23rd, Crassone Co., Ltd., operating a matching platform for demolition work (based in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, with Teppei Kawaguchi as CEO), announced the signing of a "Collaborative Agreement for Promoting the Removal of Vacant Houses" with Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Sagamihara City has been addressing the issue of vacant houses based on the Second Vacant House Countermeasures Plan, focusing on three pillars: "Promotion of Proper Management of Vacant Houses," "Promotion of Utilization of Vacant Houses," and "Measures for Specific Vacant Houses." However, with further increases in vacant houses anticipated due to population decline, the city is concerned about the impact on residents' living environments. Therefore, by cooperating with Crassone to promote the removal of vacant houses, they aim to eliminate vacant houses in a state of poor management.

Under the partnership, Crassone will (1) introduce "End-of-life Housing Navigation," which provides estimates of demolition costs and land sale appraisal prices to owners of vacant houses in the city, (2) distribute flyers on the process of demolishing vacant houses to owners of vacant houses, (3) provide assistance and information utilizing the company's services and resources in response to inquiries from residents and vacant house owners, and (4) offer services and expertise in promoting the removal of vacant houses with poor management.
