Osaka Prefecture Housing Supply Public Corporation will commence the recruitment for environmentally conscious renovation plans, "Ni-ko Ichi eco," at "Kasori Mitsui B Housing Complex" (Neeyagawa City, Osaka Prefecture, total of 249 units) and "Chayamadai B Housing Complex" (Minami Ward, Sakai City, total of 266 units) starting from the 26th.
Since fiscal year 2014, the corporation has been supplying renovated units known as "Ni-ko Ichi," where two adjacent units are merged into one, utilizing the ideas of young architects and the expertise of local businesses. These units prioritize flexibility and freedom for residents by ensuring ample space and eliminating walls and partitions to accommodate various lifestyles and work-from-home arrangements.
"Ni-ko Ichi eco" aims for environmentally friendly renovation by reusing existing interiors and facilities to the extent possible, in contrast to the visually appealing but conventional "Ni-ko Ichi" design. Measures include using recycled materials for entrance floors.
"Kasori Mitsui B Housing Complex" began occupancy in 1969 and is located approximately 13 minutes by Keihan Bus from Keihan Main Line's "Kasori En" Station, with a one-minute walk to the "Mitsui Housing Complex" bus stop. It is a five-story reinforced concrete building with unit areas ranging from 44.98 to 89.96 square meters. The available unit, located on the fifth floor, is a 4LDK layout with a unit area of 89.96 square meters, with a monthly rent of ¥73,100.
"Chayamadai B Housing Complex" started occupancy in 1974 and is situated approximately a 15-minute walk from Izumisano High-Speed Railway's "Izumigaoka" Station. It is also a five-story reinforced concrete building with unit areas ranging from 49.23 to 98.46 square meters. The available unit, located on the fifth floor, is a 4LDK layout with a unit area of 98.46 square meters, with a monthly rent of ¥79,700.
Occupancy for both complexes is scheduled for mid-March.
