On the 28th, Takara Leben Co., Ltd. announced that their rental apartment building "LUXENA Yuga" (located in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, with a total of 84 units) completed in February, has obtained an "A Rank" evaluation in the Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency (CASBEE) for New Construction.
This property is a 14-story reinforced concrete rental apartment located a 2-minute walk from Yuga Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line. It adopts the energy-saving brand "Eco Cube" from Ricosis Co., Ltd., which focuses on energy efficiency, high insulation, and performance visualization. High-insulation inner sashes, high-efficiency air conditioners, and heat-exchange ventilation fans are installed to improve energy efficiency, reducing indoor environmental impact and utility costs.
The common area heating and cooling system incorporates a "geothermal heat pump system." Three heat collection pipes, each 95 meters deep, are buried in the ground, maintaining a stable thermal environment of 13-15°C throughout the year. Circulating water within the pipes absorbs warmth in winter and coolness in summer, contributing to energy savings surpassing conventional air heat source equipment and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
This initiative entitles the property to receive subsidies under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's "Local Production for Local Consumption-Type Renewable Energy Enhancement Project."
