Ricoh Leasing Co., Ltd. announced on January 25 that elderly individuals using a guarantor company will be able to move into single senior rental housing provided by their property rental business starting January 6, 2025.
Due to the increasing number of elderly people who cannot sign rental contracts because they lack relatives to act as guarantors, the company has decided to allow tenants who use guarantor companies.
Previously, the company required relatives within three degrees of kinship to act as guarantors for single senior rental housing. However, moving forward, even if there are no relatives to act as guarantors, tenants will be able to move in if they use a guarantor company designated by the company.
